Are You an Idiot or a TwitFace?
Social media is playing a huge role in the marketing and advertising strategies which businesses and companies are choosing to adopt. Many businesses like Brick technology web design have socials like Facebook and Twitter set up but unlike us few know how to use them. Simply some of us are "Idiots", our managing director personally invites you to join him on transforming from an "Idiot" into a fully fledged TwitFace!
Brick technology will be holding a workshop on Thursday 10th November 2011 which we have decided to call:
“An Idiots Guide to Facebook and Twitter”
Within this workshop we will bring both Facebook and Twitter to life! To some "Idiots" these social networking sites are almost in a foreign language. This doesn’t have to be the case though. We will give you an overview about Facebook and Twitter and then cover the basics you will need to know in order to be able to use these socials.
Facebook, founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes was launched in 2004 but little did they know it would take the world by storm.
Since the launch in 2004 there are now over 800 million active users and this is growing every single day. There are users which as a business you can target but more importantly these are users which can be narrowed down so that you can end up marketing and advertising to your perfect audience.
Twitter, founded by Jack Dorsey and launched in 2006 has been known as the rival to Facebook. Within a small space of time it gained worldwide popularity and already it has 200 million users which help to generate a large number of “Tweets”.
“Tweets” are text-based posts of 140 characters where users can express themselves and use @twitter name to target specific people or can use a # hash tag to try and form a trend. Did you know though that Twitter handles over 1.6 billion search queries every single day?
Start to take control today, as parts of your internet marketing learn about Facebook and Twitter. This workshop will literally be a basic overview so is suitable for those who haven’t even been onto Facebook or Twitter before as well as those who have maybe had a play but don’t really understand it.
Come along and let Brick technology turn you into a TwitFace as well as giving you the power to tackle online socials! As places on the workshop are limited we advise you to book as soon as possible in order to avoid dissapointment.
