The company began life at Intack Service Station in Blackburn in 1972, with just two vans and three cars comprising its rental fleet. Remarkable initial success led to rapid growth of this modest fleet, which eventually became so large that Intack moved to purpose-built premises on Lower Audley Street, from where they still operate their business to this day. Intack's fleet, which includes cars, vans and minibuses, now numbers more than 300 vehicles, all of which can be rented for any period of time from long-term contracts to as short as part-day rentals.

The team at Intack (owner Ken, MD Rob, finance director Simon and Lee the operations manager) can together boast well over 150 years' of practical vehicle rental experience. They all hail from the local surrounding area and are continuously giving back to the community, getting involved with local charities including Blackburn Youth Zone and Rummage Rescuers.
